The design of this paper integrates interns' expected learning regarding their management discipline with competencies valued by employers. The paper structure, assessment tasks, and criteria help interns to achieve the required learning and evaluate interns' progress regarding self-management, initiative, and communicating what they have learnt to different audiences.

The MNMGT496 internship covers a 20 week period with a start date negotiated between the sponsoring organisation, the intern and the Paper Convenor.*

Please take careful note of the following requirements:

The intern is expected to spend a minimum of 110 hours in the organisation.

The intern will have a manager in the organisation responsible for overseeing the intern's progress and well-being in the organisation. The manager will provide assessment at the completion of the internship.

*Note: Specific internships may have varying schedules with the approval of the Paper Convenor.

The assessment is shared between the academic component and the organisation component.

A professional presentation to either the client organisation or to other interns.
